Our Story
The PlanIn 2008, we purchased 2.56 acres of raw waterfront land, 648' deep with 175' of waterfront in Bamboo Bay, Cayman Brac with the dream of building our Caribbean escape from the rain in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Work started right away, with cutting through the tropical forest to find the survey pins, marking our boundaries, and cutting the curved driveway to the building site. The building site was chosen to maximize elevation and take advantage of the water views and North East Bay. |
The BuildBy 2010, our one king bedroom cottage was built. But we had bigger plans and bigger dreams to achieve.
Working with local builder and designer Robert Banks, our 3 king bedroom villa with pool, gazebo, and spa was envisioned and completed in 2017. Accessibility was an important design consideration for us, and we ensured access slope, doorways, and an accessible bedroom with ensuite to ADA standards for accessible design would be included in the final plan. |
The ExperienceCoral Beach Villa welcomed our first guests in November 2017 and we have been working ever since to create the most seamless and relaxing premier experience for our guests ever since.
Our guests have celebrated some of their important milestones at the villa, including birthdays, anniversaries, and retirement. The comments we receive from guests who appreciate the accessibility features of the home make us happiest, knowing we have created a little piece of paradise that is inclusive. |
