Using the Spa
During the day, the spa water spills into the pool through power generated by a solar pump. The water flowing into the pool circulates through the pool cleaning system when the sun is shining.
At night, the spa waterfall stops automatically and the spa can now function as a hot tub. Begin heating the spa any time after the waterfall stops for the evening. To heat the spa, use the beige spa cover to speed up the heating process. Due to the volume of water, the spa takes at least 2 ½ hours to heat up, so planning ahead is essential.
A one-hour timer to turn on the spa is located on the gazebo pillar nearest the spa. The timer will need to be re-set 3 times in order to reach the maximum water temperature of 104 F (40C).
